Project Goal: The overall goal of the MPPRAP is to enhance effectiveness and relevance of public policies in Malawi.
This goal will be achieved through the following specific objectives:
(i) Improved capacity for policy formulation and management through the establishment of semi-autonomous policy research institute;
(ii) Strengthened capacity of public officials and non-state actors in economic policy analysis and formulation.
The overall goal of the AU-CAP II is to contribute to the effective implementation of the AU Commission’s Third Strategic Plan (2014 – 2017).
This goal will be achieved through the following specific objectives:
(i) Strengthen the AUC’s relationships with REC’s, AU organs and with strategic and other partners; and
(ii) Strengthen the human and institutional capacity of AU Commission to implement the Third Strategic Plan of the AUC
The main goal is to mainstream Africa’s heritage into the continent’s governance and development process.
The specific objectives of the project are to:
- Enhance human and institutional capacity of MINDS to achieve its mandate; and
- Promote a better understanding of Africa’s heritage and its relevance to Africa’s Governance and economic development issues.
The goal of MEFMI IV Project Plan is to promote sound macroeconomic policies and financial sector development strategies for a sustained growth in the MEFMI region. Specifically, the proposed project aims to:
(i) Strengthen macroeconomic policy management;
(ii) Promote financial stability and deepening in the member states; and
(iii) Strengthen debt management capability in selected MEFMI member countries.
The goal of the project is to contribute to enhancing good governance processes in ECOWAS countries. The project has three main objectives, namely, to: (i) enhance the capacity of ECOWAS and NASS members to effectively carry out their mandate and responsibilities (ii) foster learning and sharing of experiences and best practices among legislators across ECOWAS countries; and (iii) enhance the institutional capacity of NILS to deliver the legislative capacity building and research services in ECOWAS sub-region.
The project objectives are to (i) enhance the capacity of ECOWAS Parliament and NASS to effectively carry out their mandate and responsibilities: (ii) foster learning and sharing of experiences and best practices among legislators across ECOWAS countries; and (iii) enhance the institutional capacity of NILS to deliver the legislative capacity building and research services in ECOWAS sub region.
The project’s goal is to improve efficiency in Economic Policy Management in Public Sector of Southern Africa. Specifically, the program seeks to contribute to:
(i) Enhancement of skills and capacities in economic policy analysis and management; and
(ii) Enhancement of the institutional capacity of the Department of Economics to offer the academic curriculum, manage the program effectively as well as contribute its sustainability.
The specific objectives of the project are to:
(i) Enhance the capacity of individual Members of Parliament and their staffers to effectively perform their respective roles, and
(ii) Enhance the human and institutional Capacity of SADC-PF Secretariat
The specific objectives are:
(i) Strengthen institutional and human capacity of PSMTP to effectively deliver a sustainable graduate program in Public Sector Management;
(ii) Enhance the skills and competencies of mid-level and senior level managers of public sector in public sector management; and
(iii) Strengthen the networking between institutes of public administration/management (IPAs) from francophone countries of Central Africa and the Indian Ocean Region
