15 August, 2018: The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF), a specialized agency of the African Union for capacity development in Africa is hosting a ceremony to officially commission its West and Central Africa Regional Office (WCARO) on Thursday 16 August, 2018. The Accra Office is responsible for the ACBF’s projects in West and Central Africa.
Ghana was appointed the Chair of the ACBF’s Board of Governors at the 27th Annual Meeting of the ACBF Board of Governors which was held in Yaoundé, Cameroon between the 19th and the 20th of July, 2018.
His Excellency, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, Minister of Finance in Ghana will inaugurate the offices in the presence of Professor Emmanuel Nnadozie, Executive Secretary of ACBF.
Fifty participants which include members from Government, civil society, donor organisations and the diplomatic community are expected to attend.
