Matthias Naab

Matthias represents the United Nations for Development Programme (UNDP) on the Executive Board as an institutional member. He is the Director of the Regional Service Centre for Africa, UNDP. He has held senior leadership roles within the United Nations, including UN Resident Coordinator in Comoros and UNDP Country Director in Mozambique. Before his UN tenure, he was Resident Country Director in Liberia and Nigeria for the International Republican Insti-tute, managing governance programs with USAID. He is passionate about driving transforma-tional change on the African continent.

ACBF has been granted the status of a specialized agency because of the potential to transform Africa through capacity development.
