On 31 October 2016, The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) hosted a feedback workshop to review and discuss findings of the draft capacity needs assessment report prepared under the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) capacity building initiative.
TAC is one of the six organizations that ACBF will support under this initiative to make them stronger and more effective in meeting the continent’s basic challenges. TAC is a South African-based, membership-driven grassroots organization, with an international reputation for effective advocacy in the HIV arena.
Participants at the workshop included TAC Secretary General, Anele Yawa, and David Allen, BMGF Deputy Director, HIV, Southern Africa.
